Based in Napa, California, Quality Incorporated Site Work & Underground is a privately held, full service General Engineering Contracting firm.

Our team has come together to reach our common goals: create opportunities for our teammates and improve our community while maintaining the highest level of integrity and honesty. We do this by providing the best service possible to our clientele and building long term relationships based on mutual respect and common goals within the team and in the community.

Safety and Health Commitment

Ensuring the safety and health of our team members and everyone involved in our projects is a top priority. Each project begins with a comprehensive pre-start safety inspection conducted by the project coordinator and project leader to identify and address any safety concerns.

Continuous Safety Monitoring

The initial findings are discussed with the project estimator to anticipate any potential issues as the project progresses. Our project leaders conduct daily inspections, updating the job-specific inspection forms to reflect changes and new potential hazards. This daily review process keeps all team members informed and aware of ongoing safety concerns.

Regular Safety Assessments and Meetings

In addition to daily oversight, monthly job site inspections are carried out by the project coordinator to ensure consistent and rigorous safety standards. These inspections are integrated with daily reports to ensure comprehensive monitoring. Our team also participates in bi-weekly tailgate safety meetings that require active input from each member, fostering a proactive safety culture.

Collaboration for Safety

Furthermore, we attend on-site safety meetings led by our General Contractor partners. These meetings help maintain a project-wide perspective on potential hazards and enhance coordination with other teams to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.

Richard Bissett

Richard has over 37 years of experience in the General Engineering trades. Working his way up from construction laborer, Richard, followed his entrepreneurial spirit when he was only 23 years old by joining an existing Napa based company and managing the grading and excavating division of Napa Quality Pipeline Inc.

In 1990 Richard started his own California Corporation, Quality Grading & Excavating, Inc. Over the years Richard has strived to create an environment where all participants have an opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

In 2008 Richard formed a new company with Office Manager Paulina Cole creating Quality Incorporated Site Work & Underground. Quality Grading & Excavating’s merger with Quality Inc. has finalized the transition from sole proprietorship to a corporate management team

Paulina Cole

Paulina Cole spent 6 years working in her families general engineering business from 1988 to 1994. She managed all aspects of the administrative side of the business. From 1994 to 2003 Paulina stayed home to raise their 2 children.

Paulina joined Quality Incorporated in 2003 as an administrative assistant and worked her way up to Chief Financial Officer/Office Manager.

Paulina then in 2008 became a partner in Quality Incorporated with Richard.
